Moving Tips
Most important
Let us know if your driveway is not suitable for trucks. Now is the time to discard unwanted/unused items, don't pay to move it and then discard.
The rule of thumb is if it fits in a box then put it in a box and seal it where possible. Not everything can go on top, good packing will enable us to stack and fit everything in. It makes things faster, saving you money well protecting your goods.
Clearly label all cartons, numbering each room is easiest and less writing. Write on the tape where possible as we recycle cartons.
Taping furniture is not normally required. Don’t tape directly to your furniture’s surface as it leaves residue, brown tape is the worst for this.
Make sure we know which items are not going and keep separate where practical.
Check carefully once finished to make sure china has not been overlooked and left in a cupboard.
Make sure keys are available and access is clear at both pickup and delivery ends and advise us of any prospective issues.
